Our People

Our care workers provide expert support for a broad range of service users.

Meet our team of dedicated and professional individuals

First Support Care provides a mandatory induction courses to ensure all our carers only offer the highest quality of care. These courses demonstrate our ongoing commitment to providing the highest standards of training and induction.

All of our carers complete a thorough training programme which includes manual handling, first aid, condition-led care, medication, equality & diversity, personal care and safeguarding. As well as completing regular refresher training, we invest in our carers and encourage them to enhance their theoretical and practical skills in areas that are of particular interest to them.

You will only ever receive care from someone who is equipped with the necessary skills to support you, so not only will the carer be matched with you based on personality, but to the requirements that benefit your overall wellbeing.

First Support Care currently provides quality support to many local people each year. Our services can be commissioned through local authorities as well as by privately funded individuals.

Our goal is to provide care that enhances the well-being of our service users and treats them, along with their families, with respect, dignity, and empathy. We believe our service should not only align with the Care Act 2014 but also strive for excellence, empowering individuals to live safely and fulfilling.

Our quality pledge enforces our commitment to enhancing the experience of the people we care for by:

  • Elevating the quality of training for all care workers aligns with the Skills for Care Induction for care workers, providing them with the necessary knowledge to deliver respectful care that preserves dignity.

  • Enhancing our recruitment processes involves reinforcing background screenings and implementing rigorous supervision to guarantee the safety of our service users.

  • Committing to further specialised training ensures that care workers supporting individuals with complex needs receive additional skills and resources.
